Reston Optometrist, Dr. Sheebani Bathija
Dr. Sheebani Bathija is an accomplished Optometrist in Reston providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in 1999, Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Optics and her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005. She enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and shooting pool.
She opened her own practice in 2013 where she dreamed of using new and advanced technology to treat things such as dry eye, myopia and presbyopia. Always an inquisitive mind, Dr. Bathija relishes in training courses to make sure she always brings the best and most up-to-date care for her patients. Currently, she enjoys treating myopia in kids, ocular emergencies, dry eye, and specialty contact lens fittings.
Reston Optometrist, Dr. Rachel Kim
Dr. Kim was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in biology. She then went on to pursue her doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. During her training, she completed externships in contact lenses, ocular disease, and pediatrics. She currently practices general comprehensive optometry including myopia management. Dr. Kim strives to make her patients feel comfortable and provide them with thorough and personalized eye care. She also helps with a nonprofit clinic for those without easy access to eye care.
Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys digital calligraphy, thrifting, baking, and hanging with friends and family. Her faith is an integral part of her life and motivates her to do her best each day.
Reston Optometrist, Dr. VyVy Pham
Dr. VyVy Pham is originally from Orlando, Florida and received her Bachelors in nutritional science from the University of Florida in 2005. She received her doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She has been practicing optometry in the DMV since 2009 and has professional interests in ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management. In her leisure time, Dr. Pham enjoys reading, running, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Reston Optometrist, Dr. Kendall Leigh
Dr. Kendall Leigh is a Northern Virginia native and graduated summa cum laude with honors from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating in the top 7% of her class. During her studies, she received several awards, including the Ocular Instruments Award of Excellence for outstanding performance in ocular disease. She is a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and the International Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa. After four years in Houston, she returned to her home state of Virginia, grateful to be near family and to serve the community she calls home.
Dr. Leigh’s clinical training is comprehensive and diverse. She is skilled in fitting contact lenses and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and cataracts. She enjoys all aspects of optometry and has a particular interest in dry eye management, scleral lenses, and myopia control. While she values staying current with the latest advances in eye care, her highest priority is ensuring that each patient feels heard, cared for, and understood.
Outside the office, Dr. Leigh enjoys CrossFit, quality time with her husband, and being active in her church community in Washington D.C. She finds joy in caring for others, building lasting relationships, and approaching life with gratitude and integrity.
